Referee Instruction Clinic

USSF Referee Re-certification Course.

Date:  The course will be held on January 24, 2010 - 9:00 am - 2:00 pm

Location: Manchester Meadows, 337 E. Mt. Galant Road, Rock Hill, SC 29730
Upstairs training room.

All attendees are required to pre-register on-line by clicking on the link below.

No missed time for the class will be allowed; you must commit to the full number of hours. Alternative site courses are listed at www.screferee.org under the referee tab. 

Parking, Lunch:  Parking is free.  Lunch is available at nearby restaurants.

Fees: 

$55 for Grade 9
$55 for Grade 8
$65 for Grade 7
Additional fees may be collected for local associations.
Checks should be payable to “SC Referees". Cash will not be accepted. 

Course:  The course will be taught using a US-Soccer PowerPoint presentation.  Re-certification is contingent on passing a written test at the end of the course.

Eligible USSF Referees who attend all hours of this clinic, take and pass the written exam, complete the on-line registration, complete and sign the USSF Registration paper form and pay the registration fees will meet the requirements for re-certification for 2010.

Grade 5, 6 and 7 referees must also pass the physical test. The physical will NOT be given at this meeting. Referee grades 5 and 6 must also complete the annual assessment requirements.

Bring to Class:  Bring a suitable notebook and a pen and/or pencil for notes.  A good pencil with an eraser will be best for the test.

Locate the Referee Registration Form by clicking on this link.

Print out the form and write using black pen in legible, bold block letters.
Print the form on standard 8.5” x 11” paper.
Check the Referee box at the top of the page.
Insert 07 in the Year Box at the top of the page.
Complete Step 1 on the form by entering your USSF ID Number (if known), Last Name, First Name, Middle Initial, Address, City, State, ZIP Code, Email Address, Telephone Numbers, Gender (M or F), Date of Birth, Country of Birth, and Country of Citizenship. Leave the other blanks in Step 1 empty for now.

Skip Step 2 and Step 3 on the form.

Complete Step 4 only if you wish to contribute to the US Soccer Foundation.

Complete Step 5 on the form in black ink, noting YES or NO to the question, sign and date the form.

Bring this completed form to the Referee Clinic.

Referees over the age of eighteen seeking to officiate South Carolina Youth Soccer Association (SCYSA) matches should also print the following Risk Management Volunteer Disclosure form, complete the form, sign the form, and bring it to the clinic.
